Process Engineer (Billings, MT)
Analyze the scope/specifications of material handling systems for complex agricultural/ industrial facilities; Create, review process flow diagram (PFD), piping, instrumentation diagram (P&ID); Design/develop renewable feedstock storage and handling systems; Provide mechanical engineering expertise and technical engineering information, troubleshoot and resolve issues regarding engineering design with the project team. Required Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and process engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material flow.
  • Experience with bulk material handling equipment
  • Knowledge of renewable feedstock properties and handling challenges
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, 3D modeling tools (Inventor, SolidWorks, Plant 3D), MS Project.
  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting Process flow diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)

Required Qualification

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, biosystems engineering or related discipline.
  • 1+ years related experience
