A couple of recent sugar industry projects involved the construction of large diameter concrete silos to provide additional storage for refined sugar. The additional storage relieved pressure on the marketing of the product, allowing the producer to receive higher margins on the sugar sold. These projects also involved different types of conveying as well as screening.
